     Hawaii is an archipelago of volcanic islands located nearly at the center of the north Pacific Ocean and it is one of the states of the United States of America.      Lanai was once the largest pineapple plantation in the world; however right now it offers exclusive resorts and colorful nightlife.The island is good for scuba diving.
     Oahu, known as "the Gathering Place," is the most populous island of all. It is the home of Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor. Haleakala is the largest dormant volcano in the world. Kauai is the "Garden Isle". It is well-known for the sandy beaches. Molokai "the "Friendly Isle" owns attractions such as Kalaupapa National Historical Park, Molokai Museum and Cultural Center. There one can participate in Mule rides. The island offers entertainment.
     Hawaii is known as the birthplace of surfing and the hula. There are so many things to do in these islands and all offer a variety of activities.
